Our Baby, Faye Mackenzie Hill, was born on November 22, 2016. Throughout pregnancy we knew that babies could be born premature, still, or have various physical complications; however, we never thought, like so many other parents, that our baby would be one of those. We believed that if we did everything right that she would be safe.

Corrie had a severe placental abruption when Faye was 35 weeks and 3 days old. It was completely unexpected. She had none of the risk factors associated with placental abruptions and the pregnancy had been considered low risk. Faye lived for six hours and seventeen minutes. We are walking for her.
